Please find attached a letter on the D19 Vaccine Message for the mandated Vaccine.   Also attached is a letter explaining the process in challenging an exemption that has been denied or the accommodations are unreasonable or unacceptable to the member.

On the D19 Challenge Accommodations:  Any Challenge to an exemption must be filed with Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).  The EEOC handles all Challenges to Exemptions.  The Challenge letter gives instructions with timelines on how to file. 

I have also attached President Biden’s Federal Employee and Federal Contractor’s Executive Orders for your reference.

As of Friday, October 15th, 2021, Amtrak and Union Pacific have let their employees know they fall under President Biden’s Executive Order.  These 2 railroads have decided to go the vaccine and religious/medical accommodation route.  BNSF, CSX, and NS will probably follow in line.  For the smaller railroads, it is not known but we will probably know soon.
